About The Event
Welcome to Scholastic Sunday! Open to all K–12 students—from beginners playing their first tournament to experienced scholastic competitors.
Tournament Schedule & Format
Check-In: 1:45 PM – 2:00 PM (Look for signage to find entry door immediately off parking lot)
Player Meeting: 2:15 PM (Games begin immediately after).
Format: 4-Round Swiss across all sections. All players play 4 rounds (win-vs-win, loss-vs-loss pairing).
Time Control: G/25+5 (25 minutes per player + 5-second bonus per move) with clocks used in all sections.

Registration Fee
All players in the rated (not casual) tournament must be members of USCF (new.uschess.org/join-us-chess, $24/yr) to get a USCF ID#. Player do NOT need to be members of our local club Indy Chess to play, but it can save you $5 below! Go to indychess.org/membership first if interested.
