​Thank you for your interest in Chess Club at Charity Dye School 27!  Indy Chess is excited to offer this program on Thursday afternoons beginning August 20, 2026 until December 10, 2026 from 3:45pm to 4:50pm.  The program will not meet on days when school is not in session.  Students in grades 2nd to 5th grade are eligible to participate.  The program will meet in the Library upstairs at the school, and students can be picked up at 4:50p at Door 6.  The cost is $149 for the entire semester and includes workbook materials.  Up to six spots are reserved at no cost for students on public assistance (e.g., SNAP).  To apply for a scholarship spot, just fill out form and choose the "pay offline" option at checkout.   Questions?  Email Jerika@indychess.org.  The chess club will be taught by USCF-certified chess instructor Mike Chapuran, who also founded Indy Chess, is a USCF-certified chess coach, a 1650+ peak rated player, and has run more than 300 tournaments.​​​
