​Thank you for your interest in Chess Program at Herron Preparatory Academy! Indy Chess is excited to offer this program on...

• 2nd to 4th Grade: Monday afternoons beginning September 8 until December 15, 2025* from 3:20 to 4:30pm

• 5th to 7th Grade: Wednesday afternoons beginning September 10 until December 17, 2025 from 3:20pm to 4:30pm.

*The clubs do not meet on days that school is not in session till 3:20pm.

Siblings in different grades may request to attend the same day (preferably Wednesday). Both clubs will meet in a new Science Lab room on the 1st floor.

The cost is $129 per semester.  There is a limit of 18 spots in each club.  Up to six of the spots are reserved at no cost for students on free/reduced lunch (just fill out form and choose the pay offline option).  Questions?  Email info@indychess.org.  The chess club will be taught by USCF-certified chess instructor Coach Mike Gant, who has 30+ years experience teaching chess in schools and is the current Club Champion of Indy Chess!
