About The Event
Welcome to brand new Scholastic Sunday Team Challenge! K-12 students from the same school compete in teams of four as a warm-up event for the State Team Championship in late March! This event is NOT USCF-rated, so membership in USCF is not required.
Tournament Schedule & Format
Check-In: 1:45 PM – 2:00 PM (Look for signage to find entry door immediately off parking lot)
Player Meeting: 2:15 PM (Games begin immediately after).
Format: 4-Round Swiss across all sections. All teams play 4 rounds (win-vs-win, loss-vs-loss pairing).
Time Control: G/25+5 (25 minutes per player + 5-second bonus per move) with clocks provided for all sections.
