QUADS @LATVIAN COMMUNITY CENTER

6:30pm Clocks start  |  1008 W 64th St, Indy 46260

• Three-game round robin (3rr) with 4 players/section (play each player once, pairing numbers randomized)

• Play one game per week for first three weeks; final week is optional awards/blitz night

• Time control: G/60min+30-sec increment (G/60+30)

• Players grouped into "quads" of four people top-down from USCF rating order (lowest rated quad may be 5-7 players and changed to a Swiss)

• Quads with all players over 1600 USCF may be FIDE-rated (get FIDE ID# here)
• Quads with a player under 1600 will be USCF-rated
• Games will be submitted for rating at end of the league

• ​Awards and optional 3+2 USCF-rated blitz open (12ss, 6 double rounds) will be 3.6.26 (Prize is 100% of non-league player entries)

• Prize: 1st place in each quad gets medal and $30; 2nd place: $15 merch certificate to indychess.org/shop

• No age restriction, though organizer reserves right to restrict players based on past decorum

• Maximum 32 players allowed (FIDE-rated players over 2400: email arbiter at info@indychess.org)

• Entry fee: $30 members |  $40 non-members

EXTRA details for leagues:

• All equipment provided; notation required in each league; no devices allowed (unless disability accommodation).

• Top board(s) may be livestreamed or DGT broadcast.

• Refunds requested prior to 2/6/26 will be charged a $5 processing fee.  No refunds after 2/6/26.

• Absence policy: Opponents and pairing schedule will be known at beginning of league kickoff. Individual matches can be rescheduled at the mutual agreement of the players for any Tuesday Weekly evening (see indychess.org/events) prior to 3/3/26.  If unable to reschedule, game is forfeited (does not affect rating) by player who originally requested the reschedule.
