DOUBLE QUADS @LATVIAN COMMUNITY CENTER

• Six-game double round robin (6rr) with 4 players/section (play each player twice, once w/ each color)

• 60min+30-sec increment time control (G/60+30)

• Players grouped into "quads" of four people top-down from USCF rating order (lowest rated quad may be 5-7 players and changed to a Swiss)

• Quads with all players over 1600 USCF will be FIDE-rated (get FIDE ID# here)
• Quads with a player under 1600 will be USCF-rated
• Games will be submitted for rating at end of each month (10/31 and 11/25)

• ​Awards and optional 3+2 USCF-rated blitz open (12ss, 6 double rounds) will be 11/25 (Indy Chess $$$ credit to 1st-3rd in blitz)

• Prize: 1st place in each quad gets a "League Champion" fleece (or $50 merch certificate if already possess fleece)

• No age restriction, though organizer reserves right to restrict players from participating if history of disruptive conduct in playing room

• Maximum 32 players allowed; FIDE-rated players over 2400: email arbiter

• Entry fee: $60 members |  $80 non-members

EXTRA details for leagues:

• All equipment provided; notation required in each league; no devices allowed (unless disability accommodation).

• Top board(s) may be livestreamed or DGT broadcast.

• Refunds requested prior to 10/10/25 will be charged a $10 processing fee.  No refunds after 10/10/25.

• Absence policy: Opponents and pairing schedule will be known at beginning of league kickoff. Individual matches can be rescheduled at the mutual agreement of the players for any Friday Night Action evening (see indychess.org/events) prior to 11/18/25.  If unable to reschedule, game is forfeited (does not affect rating) by player who originally requested the reschedule.
