• 4TH-8TH GRADE: Tuesday mornings (August 18 to December 15, 2026) from 7:35 to 8:35am

• 1ST-3RD GRADE: Thursday mornings (August 20 to December 17, 2026) from 7:35 to 8:35am.

Students in grades 1st to 8th grade are eligible to participate, and the club meets in the Art Room downstairs (drop children off at Door 6 behind the school) on any day that school is in session.  The cost is $149 per semester, which includes workbook materials.  Up to six spots are reserved at no cost for students on public assistance (e.g., SNAP).  To apply for a scholarship spot, just fill out form and choose the "pay offline" option at checkout.  Questions?  Email Jerika@indychess.org.  The chess club will be taught by Coach Jerika Eppel, a full-time coach with Indy Chess.  She is a 1500+ USCF-rated player, an accomplished tournament director having run the Arkansas State Championship last year, and she earned a Master's in Education from Johns Hopkins University.​
