The 55th annual Indiana Team Championship season is upon us!  We are putting together teams of four players (3 minimum, up to 2 -6 players from each school in the following divisions: 3rd Grade & Under, 6th Grade & Under, and 8th Grade & Under.  To register your child to compete, fill out the form below and submit the entry fee of $14.

The first date of competition is the Indianapolis Regional Qualifier on Saturday, February 14, 8:30a-3p at St. Monica School (6131 N Michigan Rd., Indianapolis).  If the team qualifies, the championship is Saturday, March 21, 8:30a-3p at Hammond High School (Hammond, Indiana--2.5 hours from Indianapolis, but an hour behind us (i.e., time change)).

About half of 6th Grade and Under teams qualify for the finals on 3/21.  ALL 3rd Grade & Under teams qualify for finals, but the regional is still required participation according to Scholastic Chess of Indiana rules.  You are registering below just for the regional qualifier.  After seeing the results, each school's team(s) will decide if committing to participate in the finals on 3/21.

The regional qualifier will have about 120 kids present, and that tournament is run by Mike Chapuran/Indy Chess.

The state finals will have more than 600 kids present, and that tournament is run by Scholastic Chess of Indiana.
